If I read all the articles correctly, in the daily paper I might add, the court ordered the agency that now owns the old corbin hospital to tear it down by a certain date. THEY DIDN'T. Isn't that contempt of court????
So, we wait longer for another court order. Again, nothing done. Isn't that contempt of court again?
Their excuse, we don't have the money. HHHMMMM,,,,,,,,,,,, If the court orders someone to pay child support, and they don't have the money, what usually happens. THEY GO TO JAIL. Shouldn't the same apply here also.
I hope someone keeps track of all this, as if the reigning judge ever orders anyone else to tear something down, and they don't, then they have a case of past practice. The first group wasn't in contempt, so we shouldn't be either.
Strange how the weekly paper shy's away from this topic.
Some of you may be thinking, "I bet I know who's writing this post". Well, no, it's not him, I can assure you. It's just a concerned citizen wanting this white elephant torn down.
Why did former Mayor Miller announce the old hospital would be torn down and brag about what he had done when actually it still has not been torn down?
