What's wrong with karaoke?????

Why do our local officials want to get rid of karaoke? I've been down to O'Mally's a few times this summer and enjoyed the evening while listening to people sing(or attempting to) karaoke. I haven't seen anyone out of hand or causing problems. Everyone I saw was having a blast(including that dj....I think his name is Tony........He is a hoot!) Please let's not ruin a good thing for people who just like to have a good time. It makes the citizens seem like we are a bunch of children and our parents(the city) thinks we can't handle ourselves. Just refrain please, unless you can show me where the problems are with singing or dancing or pool for that matter!

This ordinance should be attended for drinking beer with their Meal. Period.

I do not think this was intended to create a bunch of Bars, Create acts out of too much alcohol consumption. The old saying you givem an inch and they take a mile. In My opinion this what these restaurants are playing around the rules with.

What other ways or acts could we get people to do besides eat a Meal and drinka beer Only????? This is why this type of conduct has been going on. Rest owners know nobody just wants to set their like good girls and boys and drink the beer and eat their burger and go home.

The Karoke,Dirty Dancing and other weird acts were not the intent of the ordinance. City Commission will make the right choice!!!!!!!!!!!!
It may make Swindler and the so called "FOOTLOOSE TIMES" a little uncomfortable but they wil get over it.???
