Does anyone know, if I annex into the city limits, will my corbin city taxes just be added to the present county taxes, or are the county taxes reduced, and the city taxes are taken from the total, with the county now taking a lesser amount than they got before.
I would also like to see tax roll in paper to see who actually is paying city taxes and lives in city. I think we will be suprised who doesn't pay a penny of taxes.
Just because u live with your parents and are an adult doesn't mean you are a corbin citizen. we have several board members who are on but live with parents. does this mean they are Corbin Citizens, seems to me they aren't. Why are they on boards. same thing with people outside the city, They don't pay taxes and shouldn't be on. Lets us city people who pay taxes run the show.

Maybe Don can print who actually pays taxes in Corbin City limits! I agree with this poster. People who rent and live off someone elses taxes need to be cut from boards.
