Fletcher had the right to fire the high up Democratic political appointees. Fletcher and his group went beyond that by firing Merit system employees who were Democrats. Beshear and his staff won't fire merit employees regardless of their political party. Performance will be the thing that matters.

Beshear served as the Attorney General and later as Lt. Governor of Kentucky. He won't surround himself with Nighberts and others who had to be pardoned by Fletcher.
Stan Lee is the Republican canidate for Attorney General
Who is Stan Lee? Ernie Fletcher and Stan Lee regret speaking to the Corbin Chamber of Commerce luncheons in August and October respectively. Those two appearances apparently brought them both bad luck in their campaigns which were both lost in today's election. None of the Democratic Candidates were invited and it proved to be a spark to their victory by being snubbed by the Chamber in Corbin. It is believed that no more Republican Candidates in future elections will appear at the Chamber because it has proven to be bad luck in elections. Who is Stan Lee? One thing everyone knows is that you can have more campaign signs than anyone else and still get the heck beat out of you. I still don't know who Stan Lee is.
