From what I read in the paper, it looks like the city utilities commission won't have the sewer and utilities ran to the new school by the time it's finished. This would be a shame, and if it happens, it's time for some heads to roll.
They've know about this school for many months, and they are just now asking for funding. Someone is not doing their job.
I hope this isn't true. Can you imagine, a brand new shcool sitting there finished, and we can't use it because the city utilities dropped the ball. If that happens, I'd fire the whole lot and start over.

Only time will tell on this.
Thanks for the information. I hope the School is following this carefullly.
HOW CAN WE GROW THE CORBN AREA AND GAIN MORE JOBS IF THE CITY UTILITIES IS NOT ON THE TEAM TO MAKE CORBIN A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE? IS THEIR JOB TO BUILD UP MONEY IN THE BANK OR IS IT TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY GROW AND TO GIVE GOOD SERVICE TO OUR AREA?
I don't know if it can be done or not, but the City Utilities Comm needs to be jerked down a notch or two, and brought under the control of the city commission. If it's true about this, then someone needs to go, and go fast.
This a Multi-Million Dollar investment for the Corbin Tax Payers. I would hope Ed McNeel is giving the city a Milestones report as to where we should be to plan at this point and where we have misssed the mark.
If the Critical Time lines have not been met then Mr. McNeel should be hitting the Panic Button to alert the City, the School Board and the Tax Payers of Corbin. The Road also is suppose to be widened to handle the Massive amount of Traffic that will now travel this route, where are we with that also?
Now, In all fairness to Mr. McNeel he may very well have already reported this information but no one seems to have seen it?? if it's out there it would be very interesting to read over and see where we are as this is the Largest Tax payer investment the City has underway.
This was reported in the last school board meeting, which is where I got my info. It was in the paper also. This is when we found out the city utilitites had dropped the ball. McNeel did all he could. He can't miracle the sewer into place.
The city utiliites is the culprit here. For their own good, I hope this works out.
