Suze Razmus for Commissioner!

After reading Suze Razmus posts on this site, and knowing her and her community involvment for Corbin, she would make an excellent City Commissioner.

Hopefully, she'll take the office of Tourism Chairman next year when the seat changes, and then when the next election rolls around, she would throw her hat in the ring for city commissioner. I would say Mayor, but Willard is doing a great job, and I would rather have them both than lose one of them.

Think about it Suze.

I'll go along with that. She would make an excellent candidate.

She will speak her mind, respectfully, and allow you to speak yours, and listen to you.

I'll even pay her filing fee.

I agree with the two previous posts. Suzie is a talented person with good leadership skills. She is a valuable member of our community.

People like Suze is what this town needs in it's administration.

She has my vote.

I commend her for her replies to the various posts on this board. I wish she would talk to the other committee members, and the city leaders, and encourage them to post as well. I think they would all be surprised at the respect they would be treated with, and the respect they would gain by allowing people to ask them questions from this forum.

People would have to realize, sometimes the answers to your questions is not what you want to hear. But, at least they received an answer.

I think this is a great idea. We need people like Suzie. The best thing is if there is ever something controversial that happens when she is on the commission, she can just arrange to have guests that day or go on vacation and not show up for the meeting. That's leadership.

Do you know that she didn't have guests that day, or are you just spitballing?

Did she tell him in advance she wouldn't be there, or are you speculating?

During fall break they should schedule the Tourism Meeting the following week. When you have a meeting with an important decision to be made you should strive to have everyone attend. It was well known that two members would be out ot town. Suzie used good judgment. She is a person who won't be steam rolled. She will do what she believes is right.

Exactly, she used good judgement.

Suze for Commissioner.

Does she live in the city limits.

Is this thread a joke?

Suze wouldn't stand a chance unless only four people ran for commission and one of them was her. I think even Ed Tye would beat her.

That's why we have elections. Put up or shut up.

Gregory will get it again because he campaigns in all the nursing homes.

Farris has a shot.

Shelton will get in because of his dedication to the youth of corbin.

Lynch is a maybe.

Tye, he'll get in only if people are ticked off at the other 4.

Suze, I think would be the 2nd top vote getter. We need woman on the commission.

Suzie Razmus would work good with Shelton and Farris. That would be a great combination. The older people need to ease on out of the picture and let Corbin move on.

If a woman runs and wins, fine.

But why should voters feel compelled to vote for someone just because they were born female?

And why do many men vote against a candidate just because she is a woman?

I wish Suzie Razmus would have run for commissioner. She would be an excellent leader.

She and Sharea Myers are both persons of excellent capabilities and are valuable assets to our area.

I was sure hoping Suze would jump in the ring and run for commissioner. She would be a good one.

But, I'm hoping she'll be in a position of authority in the new tourism commission once the present leadership is out, which should be next month.

New In Town

Ready to serve, can work very well day or night. Am organizing my PAC (Politcal Action Cmte.) now and will soon be in a position of power, I have a five year plan, really I do!

Soon, large "Elect Garvin" signs will cover the city & county if need be, I am on the move and will win the next election. People dig my style and want a change, It's time for a man like me "Fred Garvin" to take control and turn Corbin into the Groovin & Movin City it can be!

Looking for friends who will join this "Elect Fred" movement?

New In Town and diggin the scene, where is the Hottest Sports Bar?

I would say "Mr. Garvin" is one of our finest citizens, winning numerous Man Of The Year Awards in the New York area. I've known this guy for years and can attest to his many talents.

He's well liked, makes friends easy and digs the scene in this new area.

I am with Mr. Garvin in his bid to be elected!!!!!!

The word is out, Kent, that in 2010 you and Fred Garvin are both going to run as a two man team for the City Commission. You will need three votes to control the city business. Who is going to be the third member of your group? Our economy will surge if your team can win and run this area. The birds will be happily singing. The fish will bite. The weather will moderate. Global warming will cease and gasoline prices will go into a free fall. The future is looking much better.
