Political signs in the City

Should Corbin pass an ordinance banning political signs on public property in the city? Places like the green space at the Welcome to Corbin sign at the north entrance to town, the similar green area at the south intersection of Kentucky & Main and the green space at 4th and 5th Streets near the old Eaton & Gibbs store? This could be done before next years presidential election. It would eliminate the clutter of signs but is this just the American way?

I agree with this 100%. Ban them all on public property.

And, after we pass the ban, if one is found on city property, fine the candidate $1 each for each sign found on public property. That'll stop it.
