Bob Sr's letter to the Times Tribune today was very good, pointing out several road projects that need to be completed. Time will tell if these projects are going to be addressed, and hopefully they will get done. They are all important, but the road at the new Corbin school needs to be a major priority. That intersection has always been dangerous, and with the projected date of the school opening in just a few months, this needs to be addressed asap.
I agree-----Excellent letter with some very good facts.
The school is no question an issue and hopefully will be dealt with quickly!!! The second point is extremley important aslo. I hope folks read the details of what Bob Sr. laid out, the shear number of people that can be in that small area at one time could easily top 6000.
If you add a full expo center, multiple restaurants and other entities Bob mentioned in any sequence of multiple numbers at the same time could be massive. This may even back traffic up into I-75 which at the right time could be extremley dangerous (Say a Friday or Saturday night).
Hopefully there are plans in the works to address these issues but the details Bob reported in his column should sound an alarm if you simply add up how many folks could be in that area at one time.
