Heard that the chain Chili's is looking at corbin now. I heard that a few days ago from the staff working at the Chili's in knoxville, the one on Clinton Highway. She asked where we were from, and when we told her Corbin, she replied, "They're looking at opening up a Chili's there."
Hope it's true.
I'm sure some local reporter will call them directly and ask them and they'll tell them "NO" and that'll be the official word as far as their concerned, but, we've learned to take the weekly papers articles with a grain of salt.
Anyway, hope they come, as with each one that does, another will soon follow.
I heard there was another Applebee's type of restaurant looking at the exit 25 area, but didn't hear a name. Chili's would be fine. TGI Fridays or a Buffalo Wild Wings would be good too.
I wish Big Ed's from Oak Ridge would come up this way.
And, I'm still hearing a Bob Evans is looking there too.
