No arguement to it just the facts. For every 6% of state tax paid on food and drinks the city of corbin gets 3% that is half of all the revenue the state collects. Lets take Wendy's for instance they gross 1.2 million annually at just one store in Corbin the city collects $ 36,000. Add all the restaurants deli's and gas stations, fast food restaurants etc and emagine what is taken from the locals that eat out.Check your ticket at krogers if you buy a sandwich made at the deli.Just food for thought ( pardon the pun) but you do the math.
