Is the insurance tax still in effect for corbin city residents.

I believe it is levied on insurance premiums for homes and vehicles, registered to persons who reside in the city limits.

Also, it is not charged on health, life, or other insurance.

And, I think it is above 10%.

On a $1000.00 premium, you would pay the city of corbin an extra $100.00 just for living in the city, and having insurance on your home or car.

Is this correct?
