What happened to the state park golf course funded for the Falls.

Anyone have any info on this.

The last I heard it had 9 million thrown into it, and haven't ready anything about it since.

Anyone know anything about it.

I hope we get a new Golf Course near Cumberland Falls and I-75. It could be a great attraction for the Tri-County area and for Tourism.

I am interested in knowing whose land will be purchased for this project? Will it be land from the same old profiteering people who control just about everything that happens in this area?

Rep. Siler, and Senate President D. Williams have both made statements that Cumberland Falls State Park will get a Golf Course? Is that another promise that won't be kept?

Do you think the Cumberland Falls State Park Golf Course will ever be built? It sounds like a promise that won't be kept.

Cumberland Falls State Park is an outstanding place that attracts thousands of people each week to our area. It is great that they are going to put a golf Course to serve the many customers of the park.

Have they started construction, and who is designing the course for them. This is great and I am sure this will be a high priority program.

The Golf Course project has become a deep, dark, secret. I have heard nothing about it recently. Have you?

It was interesting to read the Letter to the Editor about Bob, Jr. developing the research and presentation about that project. I wish he could put that on the webbsite. It would be something I would like to see.

I hope they get Arnold Palmer to design the Cumberland Falls State Park Golf Course.  Is Rep. Charles Siler going to announce who will do it soon? I had heard it will open next spring but if that is correct they better get moving on it.
When will Rep. Siler have the dedication ceremony?

I heard it was taken out of the budget at the last minute. Cumberland Falls State Park is a great park, and with a Golf Course it could be the greatest.

The Director at Cumberland Falls State Park, Lisa Davis, is an outstanding person. She is doing a very good job. If the Park did have a Golf Course it would attract many more people to the area. It would be a strong asset to help bring more people not only to the Park but to many other motels and restaurants in this area. It would be very good for Williamsbur, Corbin, London, McCreary County, Barbourville, and Jellico.

This is an important step and I hope this Golf Course is approved and completed. Tourism is very important to our area. Whether you like golf or not, this could create some good jobs and help many businesses in our area.
