O'Malley's

This wasn't on the board, and just thought about it as some friends were over and had just come from there.

It's been over two months since we've been there, and it was on a Friday.

Still seems like Jerry's in the dining room.

Seems we've hit all the "serving restaurants" but this one and Angels and Wings.

I'll let someone else do that one.

Had dinner at Tuscan recently, great Atmosphere for Dining, very nice place! The Food however was not that good especially for the price.

Am afraid they will struggle if the Quality and General Menu does not Improve.

I agree.

I'm afraid they made a huge mistake over their staff changes.

I've eaten here a few times lately, and the food and service has improved a lot. But, it still seems like Jerry's to me. They need to give the dining room an update and give it a better atmosphere.

The bar area is ok, but, they need more tables.

They have good specials though.

O'Malleys is having some good crowds for their meals and the Italian restaurant has fallen off badly. Buchners and El Dorado's have also been doing well.

We had a group at O'Malley's yesterday and the food and service were both very good. It is good to see the increase in business they are having. This is good quality at good prices.

O'Malleys seems to be doing very good. They have had excellent numbers in their restaurant these past weeks. Tuscany Gardens looks like a vacant parking lot, and Buckners, O'Malleys, and El Dorado's all look crowded.

We need our restaurants to do real well and its great to see three of those near I-75 doing so well.

When I first came to Corbin , last May, I used to go to Omalley's almost Every night, just for the GREAT people that worked there, and the way they treated me like I was part of there "family".

Now that there are new owners involved, and even more WARM & FRIENDLY staff members, BETTER FOOD, I know that I'll be there as often as my schedule allows.

Finally, it seems that there are some TRUE PROFESSIONAL restaurant managers in the area.

Peace, Love, & Happiness,
Michael "JERSEY" Parnicky

I noticed that O'Malley's has now started opening on sunday. They had several cars, and once folks know they're open, I'd say it'll get better.

That's great.

Went to O'Malley's the other night and had a blast. Food was very good. Good service. They expanded the bar since I was in there. It was a great atmosphere with the guy in charge of karaoke and people just enjoying the night. I will be returning soon.

I see they're serving breakfast now. Good idea.

I wondered about this, as to why they would start this. A friend mentioned that it is a good way to get their 70/30 food to alcohol ratio in line. Everything they serve at breakfast, adds to the food sales. We eat lunch there often, and rarely see anyone ordering alcohol during lunch.

O'Malley's has cleaned up some. The sewer gas smell seems to be gone. At least its not in the eating area. I didn't go into the bathroom. The food was good and the prices are reasonable.

I know that no one wants to go to a place to eat and smell foul odor's but sometimes it is hard to get a Master Plumber on the job. Big jobs may call for the state to get involved and for sure... permits to be pulled. Some of this does take time. You know that the staff wants it fixed more than we do that go in and get out. They have to stay there and suffer with ill feelings. All of the businesses in that little nook all have to have their sewer garbage come right past there to the street's main. It's not the fault of the business as they can be shut down ASAP if the problem isn't fixed. (They want it fixed more than anyone!) Good that they got it fixed though.

I went there a few weeks ago to eat and I had a very pleasant experience. The food was good and priced right. The staff was 'down to earth' and not snobs and unsocial. (they could catch a good joke!) Personality is the key to dealing with stranger's that are hungry and tired... they have a good crew from what I experienced anyway. I like the look. Why change everything. how about lets keep a little old with the new. the food and service is the important part to me.
