If The President Of The Chamber was smart he would have extended that offer, even if he does not like the Dems, it's smart Business for Corbin to have a relationship with the next Gov!!!

I sure would not want this guy running my Business, who would be so crazy as not to invite Beshear, mercy, he is going to win easy and be in control of Vital Funding for our area!!!!!!

Fletcher is grasping for straws. I hear he is in a panic.  Six months ago his position was also to let the voters of Kentucky decide the Casino issue. But his campaign consultants decided they needed to grab something as an issue and this was all they could come up with.

Afterall, Fletcher is American's most liberal Governor's in giving pardons to his corrupt staff.

His first big move as Governor was to try to cut the medical insurance for our teachers.

He is a pilot and his Kentucky Governor's plane nearly got shot down flying into Washington when it got into air space that is off limits.

He has used taxpayers money when he goes out ang makes campaign speeches which are disguised as a business trip.

His campaign is using phoney photos of Steve Beshear in a Casino.

Fletcher has lost the respect of his hand picked Lt. Governor.

He is grasping for anything that can keep his campaign afloat.  He is sinking fast.

I was feeling so great tonoght after the big UK win. But, However, I was Appalled and alarmed after seeing a political ad on TV tonight  with a young female child blasting Steve Beshear.

This child was holding drawn pictures of Ten Commandments, and making statements about Steve Beshear raising taxes, and letting Violent criminals out of Jail.
I understand Politics is Dirty!!!!

But using young Children to be used in TV POlitical Adv. IS WRONG!!!!!
I believe this was sponsored by some Republican association  I'm not sure.
I as a Republican am really Dissappointed to see anybody use young children to promote their agenda.

We should protect our children that are this young from these kind of foolish political Agenda's. This ADvertising should be taken off the air immmediately!!!!

I am really believing that Fletcher is not a man of integrity or honesty.
After seeing theese children being used for someones political Agenda in these TV ADDs, I hope that the Republicans like my self will Switch over to Beshear.

This kind of conduct should be called on the Carpet by Fletcher himself if he has any Integrity to stop this group by using young children to try and make political attacks.

We should take every ounce of effort to protect these Kids from being used in Political attacks and personal Agendas.

Isn't it strange how much time Gov. Fletcher is spending in the Tri-County area? Is it because other Republicans across Kentucky don't want him to campaign in their area? He has been in our area four times in the last two weeks. In many areas nobody will come out to hear or see him. What does that tell you?

The Fletcher supporters in this area stand all alone. They are the only partisans left. Fletcher and the group he has pardoned have been a disaster for the people of Kentucky. When the man Fletcher personally selected to be his Lt. Governor four years ago turns against him you can easily see how ineffective Gov. Fletcher has been as our leader. Many good Republican leaders want Fletcher and his group out so the Republican party can start a rebuilding effort for the future of the party. They fear this mess will bring down the Minority Leader of the US Senate, Mitch McConnell and later Jim Bunning. They are not as worried about the Governor's race as they are about the outlook for the future of other Republicans.

Fact is Fletcher has done very little for Corbin, and Nighbert has given virtually all of the Transportation funding for roadwork to Williamsburg, shutting out Corbin. State some facts to back up your statements.

I could not believe he wrote those words. With a War going on that takes the lives of our men and women daily and shatters their loved ones and friends, with so many people living without medical insurance, with the debt of our nation soaring, with hard working people having trouble paying their mortgages and facing foreclosure, with oil prices predicted to reach $100 a barrel, with corruption in Frankfort and Washington, DC. out of control, with a Governor who chose his Lt. Governor and can't even get his support, and with a Governor who pardons 28 of his administration who broke the law, and the publisher has the audacity to write "I like things the way they are and want things to never change".

I salute the Republicans who are joining Democrats and Independents in rejecting this administration in big numbers. I will always keep a copy of several of those editorials as a reminder of just how vindictive and wrong some people can  be.

Did you see the coverage on Fletcher's visit to the Corbin area? Front page in color.  Did you see the photo on Beshear's visit to Corbin? Third page in black and white. No mention of McKenzie Morgan who did such a good jobe singing God Bless America. No mention of Doris Allison who helped make it an upbeat experience with her music and personality.

The Forcht Empire was very involved in seeing that the Chamber of Commerce featured three Republican candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General respectively, and had zero Democratic Candidates. You have any more questions about who runs things in our community and Tri-County area?

i can assure you that the "Forcht Empire" as you like to call it had nothing to do with the Gov's Chamber Meeting appearance. Where are you getting your information?
