I understand that WCTT AM 680 won't be carrying the Reds this season, leaving WLW as the only station that we can receive at night that carries the Reds. I have listened to the Reds on WCTT since I was a little kid, and it disappoints me that they have dropped the Reds.
I know one alternative is through MLB.com, where you can pay $15 a year and get all MLB radio broadcasts, including the choice of listening to either the home or away broadcast team.
Wow, I can't believe they would drop the Reds after decades of carrying them. Is it too late for them to change their minds? I've also listened to them since childhood on WCTT. This sucks.
WFTG-AM 1400 in London carries the Reds, but you can't get them at night in Whitley County, and even in South Laurel it's tough. WCTT I think screwed up dropping the Reds - I know quite a few people, especially out in the sticks, who used to listen to the games on 680. My dad is rolling over in his grave as I type.

I can't believe it. Thought maybe they just wern't carrying spring games, but they dropped them completely? Time to move. I guess the internet will be the new alternative. Anyone know how to sign up?
I feel bad for the elderly or shut in people out in the county who don't have the Reds games on cable TV. The Reds on Radio is bug for them. I remember visiting a severly injured and bed ridden person back when the baseball strike was in effect with no game to listen to on radio. He was very disappointed. I often watch the game on TV with the sound turned off and use my radio for the audio.
Its kind of been a tradition having the Reds on WCTT, probably more than 50 or 60 years that I've been listening to them here is Corbin. Sorry to see us have to listen to 1400 AM in London or WLW, which doesn't come in as good as it did years ago. Anyone know why they dropped them?
Has anyone called Bo Eubanks to let him know how much this hurts? I can not believe he did not make money with this there was always sponsors to pay the bills and profit for his radio station. Bad for community of Corbin. I have already called the radio station 528-4717 to voice my concerns. Call and let them know it might help.
At lunch today a friend stopped me as I was going to pay for my meal, and asked me, "Why did the Radio Station quit carrying Reds Baseball games? He has a job in which they can have the day games on the radio in their office. He also talked about some older friends who don't have cable TV and now can't hear the games on radio. It is a sad situation when we no longer can hear the Red's games after all the years people in this area have been Red's fans.
I told him I was not happy about it either, but I didn't know why they have discontinued this coverage.
