Congratulations to Josh Hamlin for receiving a baseball scholarship to Georgetown College. In the last two years three Redhounds have received baseball scholarships to play for the Tigers. Mahan, Prewitt, and now Hamlin. Mahan is one of the Captains of this years team that finished 2nd in the Big South Conference. They play their 1st Conference Tournament game Thursday night at Georgetown.
Corbin now has four players on baseball scholarships at Georgetown College. Mahan, Prewitt, Hamlin, and Hedrick. Two Juniors and two freshmen, and they are all expected to play a great deal this season.
Mahan was Co-Captain last season as a sophomore. We are pleased to see Georgetown College recognize the talent we have in baseball in Corbin.
