The Reds are in the Top (5) of Teams who score 4 or More Runs per Ball Game, but have the worst Record in the League. Believe we need just a Little Pitching.
Too bad the way the season is going as Griffey may be having his best year as a Red. No Question he will Eclipse the 600 Barrier this Year, Some Folks think he may have a shot at 700 if he can hold out another few years.
If Cincinnati can get another good starter and a couple of good relievers they will be able to compete next year. Hamilton is back from an injury and got three hits last night. Keppinger has gotten off to a good start. Both of these players have the potential to post some very good hitting numbers. Harang is one of the best starters in the National League. If he had some better relief pitchers this year he could have at least 16 wins at this time. Ross showed last season that he can hit much better than he is this year. He is a good catcher and has a good arm.
I hope next season the radio station in Corbin will carry the Reds games.
The Reds are now only 61/2 games out of 1st place in their Division. Their new manager has done a very good job with this team.
It is good to see them winning some tough ball games, and it looks like things should be much better next season. I hope Corbin's radio station will carry their games next season.
Harange pitched a great game for the Reds last night as they beat Pittsburg 8-0 on a two hitter. He now has a 14-3 record. I hope the Reds can have a strong September and make it a tight race at the end.
