Gas still cheap in corbin.

Gas is still cheapest in corbin. I'm through all the towns around here every week, sometimes every day, and no matter what, corbin has the cheapest gas overall.  The speedway on exit 25 is an exception, theirs goes up and down several times a week, especially on thursday, but, them aside, corbin still has cheap gas.

The Gasoline stations in the Corbin area have been offering some most competitive prices. I heard some people who were passing through at a service stateion just off exit 25 and they were complimentary about the prices.

These are good features of our area. We all appreciate our businesses that don't try to take advantage of the people.

Just talked with a friend from Royal Dutch Shell, he said look for $4 Dollar per gallon gas by April. Govt just not willing to take on the Oil Companies.

Has anyone else noticed that the gas that we are mortgaging our houses for just to get from A to Z is not the quality of gas that we are expected to? Push in your mileage keeper with a fill up and see. I used to get close to 80 miles BEFORE I got off of full. I got it as Swifty on Falls Rd. last week and I literally got 14 miles! FOURTEEN MILES and I was clearing the needle!! Where did my other 66 miles go to? I have fallen into a habit of pushing in my odometer button every time I fill up to see where the best gas for my buck is. So far, Shell across from Sonny's is the best and after that is the store on top of Gordon Hill. Kroger gives a deal IF you spend $100 in groceries BUT.. they seem to alter their prices thinking that we all have that card. Why not just lower their prices $.10 lower and let that be that? We are paying more than we've ever paid in history but our fuel is trash! Push in your button and see what I mean. Please post where you get the best mileage. It's not Wal-Mart or Swifty!
