The recent bridge collapse in Minnesota made me think of the tradgey of worrying more about sending our troops to die for oil, and letting our bridges and roads deterioate to the point of collapsing.
Strange how we prioritize our needs.
They'll nickle and dime all day long about spending money for road maintenance, arguing who's responsibility it is as the state or federal govt's responsibility, or buying books for our schools, or healthcare issues, or providing for our injured and wounded returning vetrans in our VA facilities.
But, let them throw money away hand over foot in Iraq, and they have no problem with that.
Angela, I agree with you. People need to wake up. We are in a war that is draining our lives and our resources while our bridges fall, Katrina damage is still untouched, and the loved ones of our brave troops live each day in worry and fear.
