I was at the meeting. There was a series of votes, basic raise your hand type votes, and the "arts" was one that received votes from almost the whole room. I voted yes to it, as did everyone around me.

Then, during the open forum, where we asked questions or commented on various topics, the same thing was brought up, with agreement from virtually the whole crowd. The crowd voiced it's opinions wanting a good mixture of arts, retail, and restaurant related business's.

Add to that the desire for "greenspace" (parks) and that was the consensus of the crowd.

SO, to answer you, yes, "MANY" said that.

And, they said that to "ALL WHO WAS THERE".

What if the monkey was sitting on a plastic train while he was nursing? Would that be art? That would qualify for art acccording to liberals .

Joan Jett left a few minutes after the concert was over. What's your point? Joan Jett does not publish a small town paper. I know you are really into art Wildcat but still the sucking monkey showed poor taste. Had Joan Jett gone to church in Corbin the next morning she would not have seen anything like that.

What has anything to do with going to church, have anything to do with art, or this picture you're talking about.

It is probably a whole different crowd that you are used to.
