You could start by talking about the waste at the sewage treatment plant. There is some real waste there.

Commissioner Lynch is doing a good job keeping the focus on getting jobs done right. Sometimes Commissioners are just always against everything but don't do a good job of overseeing the regular work the city funds.  I notice Lynch is positive for the city programs, but is vigilant on how they spend their money.

I am glad Commissioner Lynch is on the commission

At the last meeting the City Manager was asking approval to purchas new metal garbage collectors and when asked how many were needed he and his department manager answered, " a whole bunch of them". Commissioner Lynch was inquisitive and asked good questions that any good manager would ask when approving expenditures. As a result there is a process going on to see if rebuilt units can be acquired, instead of a bunch of them to determine the actual number, and it was impressive to see him use a sound business approach.

According to the newspaper the city managers request was to declare some old rusted out dumpsters as surplus property not to buy new ones.

Don't you think it would be a good idea to know how many were going to be declared surplus property than to just report it is a whole bunch of them?

Yes, you are probably right and you might think that property like that would be numbered and be listed somewhere as part of equip inventory.

Gregory is the money man, although you may not agree with his style we are
forunate to have his on the job.

Gregory is against everything until he finds out what all the cronies in town want, then he comes out with his decision.  He's the last one of the old board that needs to go.

I have a quesiton, then, if anyone can tell me, or wants to try, I'll explain my questions.

Does anyone know if the city manager uses a city owned fleet vehicle for official trips, for either local or out of town use, or does the city give him a car allowance for this, where he can use it, the money, on his own vehicle?

Do the police officers drive their cars home, or do they leave them at the station.  Seems they used to drive them home awhile back.

Please keep opposing commissioner Gregory. He is my favorite, and with you against him he is a sure bet to get the most votes again in the next election.

When you say with "you against him ". Who is you? Sometimes people who are criticized on this website believe the Administer of the Website puts all the critical things on here. You just don't know how many people participate in this website. I talk to many each day. And the more your favorite commissioner gripes about this website the bigger and bigger this website becomes. Years ago when they banned a book in Boston, it became a best seller.
