The next governor to be in corbin tomorrow.

The next governor will be in town tomorrow, at the new tech center. Do you think our city and community leaders will be smart enough to attend. We'll see.

They need to, because this time next year, they'll be sucking up to try to get their funding or projects approved, and he would have the right to say, "come back in another 30 years, the next time you elect a republician governor".

Guess who people will be calling when the need something from the state, that's right, Bob Terrell. Will he tell people to "see me later". I don't think so, he's a class act, and will help all those that stomped on him because of the high level of integrity he has, and his genuine concern for ALL people, no matter their political party.

Wonder if Estep and Carpenter will show up. I'm betting no, but I hope I'm wrong. Will the mayor and city commissioners be there, I'd say yes, and I hope I'm right.

We'll see.

Yes, it will be very interesting to see which city leaders show up today for the Beshear rally. They all need to be there, but once again, some egos may get in the way of what should be our primary objective - promoting our area and networking with people who may be in the position of helping Corbin in the very near future.

Oh, my gosh, have you been holed up in a cave since the 1970's?  Beshear was Lt. Governor when he and Gov. Collins were successful in getting Toyota to establish their plant in Georgetown. That was in the 1980's. Because of that action it led to Aisin Automotive coming to Lily. There are many plants across Kentucky as a result of Toyota coming to Kentucky. Your Republican friends have been more interested in seeing our jobs transferred overseas and all our products coming from China. Our nation is in deep debt, our people are making less income, and we are hated across the world because of you and other voters who were hoodwinked by Bush and people like Fletcher. Please find your way back into the real world and quit slumbering and dreaming so much.

Heard there was a good turnout for the governor to be.

I heard he extended an olive branch so to speak to this area.

Heard Carpenter and Estep didn't make it. Is that true. Wonder if Estep's paper will talk about it, NEXT WEEK, in their next edition.

You know, a thought crossed my mind.

When Bashear takes office, who do you think the "go to" guy will be for this area? Can you guess? I'll give you three guesses.
