No Kathy did not support this post but elected officials need to realize and take serious their positions. Christians who can both be politicians and family men. I am so sick of our communties supporting people because of their name. Its not just who you are but what you stand for. I think your values and morals play a big role in who is leading our country and in powerful positions. If the public knew these things they would think twice in who they voted for.

And, elected officials should take pride in serving their country when they are called upon to do so. I did, and still do.

Then step asided when called upon and let someone do your job and not put a burden on the people around you. He should have never run for an office while serving the military. yes he could remain a lawyer but do the right thing. The right candidate didn't win this election. I hope the voter of whitley co realize what they have done.
