Well Mr. Carpenter, it's like this. The were elected to take care of the city and it's citizens. They aren't doing that by allowing all of the occupational tax money that is rightfully corbins, be sent to Knox County.

And furthermore, Mr. Estep, if they don't want to tackle the job, they an resign and find someone else to do it.

Its amazing, I see threads started on various subjects, and someone trys to turn it into a Swindler, Terrell, Meyers bash - just like conversations I have and some I overhear.

I know who it is, the same two or three people who when talking to in person turn any and every conversation into a conversation about these people - identical to these threads, word for word. You can be talking about the weather, it will turn to something negitive about these people.

They hate them - absolutely hate them - because they are smarter than them, more talented than them, can accomplish things they can't, and they feel threatened.

Its sad they have to resort to this way of conducting their lives, but I guess every town has their share.

By the way, back to the topic, Ms. Swindler is great, and those of you who feel threatened by her need not worry, she'll be lured away to a bigger paper because she is that talented.

You are right. I hear a lot of negative talk around town about Swindler all the time. People don't seem happy with her here. Strange.
