1. Insult the integrity and intelligence of the entire state population by telling them you know what's best for them instead of letting them decide, such as the casino gambling issue. Let the people decide on the ballot.
2. Pardon your staff of their alleged crimes even before they got to trial for them. By not letting them have their day in court, you give the appearance they are guilty before it even starts.
3. Take the 5th on testifying on your hiring issues. Sure, anyone has a right not to incriminate themself, but, not the leader. That scandal brought back memories of Watergate.
4. Make every teacher in the state mad the first months in office, by playing with their health insurance coverage. You do it early, because you hope they'll forget about it at election time, and vote for their party. NOT!
5. Take away the collective bargaining rights of all satete employees, again soon after the election, and again hope they'll forget about it at election time. Also forget to keep in mind that most of them are democrats anyway, as they were all hired by democrat governor administrations since 1960, so they were questionable of supporting a republician anyway. And how many state employees do we have? Several thousand I'm sure.
Yep, there's 5 ways to lose an election, anyone else have any.
Me, I'm a republician, and I'm not voting for him. Why? Above are 5 of the reasons.
