Heard around town, and on this board, Walgreens is putting in where Peach Corner is now. Any ideas where Peach Corner will locate? I sure hope they put in somewhere.
No, not the lot next to Hamlin and Kersey. I've heard the lot across the street on Main, beside Art's Pharmacy, which was Charlie Baker's property. I believe they purchased the land last year. Not heard any definites if they are actually building there, however. I hope they stay in town. Peach Corner is an asset to Corbin, and would hate to lose them.

Isn't that right over there close to where you work WKUgirl?
You're crazy. If you want to see a real "unhealthy obsession" just check out all the posts and threads trashing Don Estep and Bruce Carpenter on this board.

Wow! and Merry Christmas to you! WKUgirl is a great poster on this message board. When you refer to her treat her with the respect she deserves. Give us facts for your defense of the two bosses. Don't just give hysterical accusations. The few people in your camp just don't have any facts. You just like to smear with generalities. I do hope you and your family enjoy a Merry Christmas.
Estep is the Chairman of the Tourism Board and has control of Millions in Tax Dollars provided by the city, this makes him open for constructive feedback. Sorry, that's part of Estep taking on this responsibility.
Bruce is the Industrial Development point man for the city, this also makes him an official funded by the public an open to constructive feedback, again part of what he signed up for when he took a Public Position supported by city funding and sposored by the city.
The City is owned by the local tax payers, this makes both of these guys accountable to the people. You know, sorta like that thing called Constitution that explained to us how the people and tax payers control the governement.
Same goes for any public official, the people get to challenge and ask you to explain why and how you spent their tax dollars, I do not seem to see an expalnation to why these guys do much of anything, they just do it???
