FIREMEN: What do you think of the new fitness requirements?

I'd love to know what you think about the issue brought up in the paper this week. How do you feel about it. I really want to know.

Being grandfathered in is a good idea, and a fair one. Will this help things? Is it worthwhile?

I enjoyed your comments on the other post concerning the firetrucks on main st, and I'm asking to please let us know your feelings on this issue.

I'll say this, if they require you to do it, the police dept should do the same, if they're not already doing it.

Wellness policies are good for all involved. It cuts down on sick time, injuries, and helps bring in better employees.

Let us know, fire dept staff, what do you think.

I hope those firemen that posted on the other fire dept post will address this one as well. I really would like to know their opinions.

If they're worried about criticizing their bosses, they shouldn't be. There are all kinds of lawyers around that would love to help them should they be harassed by the city leaders or city manager for speaking out.

I would say that most of the would say it's a good thing. I hope the city doesn't go overboad with it for awhile, and sort of gradually work it's way into it.

You all do a great job, keep up the good work.
