I THINK SOMEONE JUST FOUND THE SOLUTION 2 WHY CORBIN ISN'T GROWING.

IF THEY DECIDE TO PUT A JIFFY LUBE ON MAIN STREET WITH 5 GARAGE DOORS ILL BET THEY PAY MORE IN TAXES TO SUPPORT THIS COMMUNITY THAN YOU,THAT IS IF YOU EVEN LIVE IN THE CITY.MAYBE THEY WILL PAINT SOME BEAUTIFULL MURALS ON THE DOORS.

CAPTAIN CORBIN
WOW - YOUR PSYCIC POWERS APPEAR TO BE FAILING YOU. I LIVE ON GORDON HILL, LAST I HEARD IT WAS IN THE CITY LIMITS UNLESSES THEY DE-ANNEXED OUR AREA, AND MAKE A GOOD LIVING AND PAY TOO MUCH IN TAXES. WHERE DO YOU LIVE CORPORAL CORBIN?
You all are such jerks it boggles the mind. Can you not just stay on the couch with your Pabst Blue Ribbons and go back and forth with each other in person? It is so tiring to hear you one up each other on the insults.

You have identified me as one of the jerks. It does not look like it would take much to boggle your mind. I don't drink beer. My favorites are butter milk and carrot juice. You wouldn't get tired so much if you would lighten up and eat and drink healthy food and drinks.

I'll have ya know I have a recliner and drink my Milwaukee's Best, but I'd rather have a chance to stay on the stool at the NE end of a particular local bar and act like Norm and Cliff.

For you to refer to some of us as jerks is indeed a compliment. If you wish to see a real jerk look in your bathroom mirror and you will see big, ugly one.
And now, back to the restaurant business,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
we have eaten at the Depot 4 times in the last couple of months, both with and without out of town guests, and the food was excellent. The service was outstanding. Our guests complimented such a high class operation in a small town. And, they were impressed at the value of their meals.
I'll throw this in here as well, we ate at the Vintage House as well, and they were equally impressed with their food, service, and value.
Great comment, both restaurants are outstanding and we are fortunate to have both. Most towns our size don't have one restaurant equal to either of these, and we have two. People here need to appreciate the investment and effort of both owners and support these establishments.
They are both outstanding. This is a big improvement for our area.
Saturday night at the Depot there were about 15 to 16 kids and about 20 parents and they were in town for the Little League Tournament from Campbellsville. We had a good time talking to them and they told us Corbin is a very friendly place and they felt very welcome here. One of the fathers of one player told us he likes to have work done at Whayne Supply. He said they do a great job and have a very professional organization. They liked the Depot very much.
While en route to TN, we decided to exit the Interstate at Corbin to find a "special" place for lunch and we "stumbled upon" The Depot! What a GEM! We were road weary and hot! From the moment we entered the front door, we knew we'd found, not only an "oasis" but exactly what we were looking for ~ i.e. "atmosphere"! While the food was very good, the unexpected DELIGHT came from TYLER the bartender! We were there toward the end of the lunch service so it was quiet and, fortunately for us, Tyler had time to bring a 2nd drink to our table and we began chatting. I was in KY for the 1st time since 1952 (having been born in Ashland) so this is how our conversation started. We traded stories and much laughter! What an asset you have in Tyler! Along with the joy of time with him, the food and ambiance has made it one of the most memorable lunches we've ever had!!!!
By the way, I accidentally left an item containing some important papers on the seat and didn't discover I had done so until we were back on the freeway ~ about 15 min. away. In the meantime, while we were heading back to The Depot, I later learned that Tyler had checked to see if he could find a tel. number in order to contact us and did call my sister-in-law in TN (which was our destination). It was so very thoughtful of him to do this!
We most certainly will recommend your restaurant most highly and will hold out the hope of another visit if at all possible!
Our best wishes always, Joan and Rod Wickstrom Denver, CO
I heard Rick Curry became ill at work last night and was taken to the hospital. I am not sure how his present condition is at this time, but we should all remember him and Holly in our prayers and wish him a full recovery.
We've ate at the Depot three times in the past month, and it is excellent, food wise. In the evenings, their service is a little slow, but, they can improve on that.
Went by the Depot today, a sign said "Closed for renovations and repairs, Oct 5-15". That's odd, a new restaurant like that already having to do major renovations.

They have done this the past two years. They have painting done and things that would be a disturbance to customers and staff if they were open. If any of you think back the same thing happened last year at this time. The Depot is nothing like the Vintage House and has no problems.

Anyone have any news on this.
