Buckner's better get ready!! Applebee's will be open soon, and the noise you'll hear will be the TV on in the place with only the normal drunks at the bar while everyone else is down the hill.
Their service is getting worse and worse in the past few months. Buckner's is the best of the three on that end of town, compared to El Dorado's and O'Malley's, but, that isn't saying much. We've eaten there 5 times in the past 3 weeks, and it's really going down hill, the service that is. Not to mention the incorrect food orders.
Just last night, the place was full, and the waitress's were greeting you with "sorry, we're shortanded tonite". The only ones getting service were the ones sitting at the bar.
Oh well, just a few more weeks and Applebee's will be open. Then, the service at Buckners will improve, as it should, with fewer customers and the same # waitresses it'll have to get better.
We ate there friday night. The service is really lacking for the dining tables, but they sure take care of the bar area and bar tables with all the loudmouths and table rovers.
They had two waitress's working the bar tables, and only one for each side of the rest of the place, that I could see. If there were more, I never saw them, and I could see the whole place where I was sitting.
It's not the wait staff's fault, it's the management and owner's fault. Where were they, I don't know, when I asked to see a manager, the only one that came was the lady sitting out in the foyer that seats you. She's not the manager, but, she catches the complaints that the manager should.
Anyway, Applebee's in less than a month. Buckners better shape up. Once the food goes, so goes the business according to the 70-30% law.
