I have been at some of the meetings, and your incorrect about all the folks you just stated being there, most of the time it's a few here and there----Don't stretch the facts

Sounds like you need to read more closely. He said that the Industrial Commission members and the Tourism Commission members attend their meetings. Not that they attend the City Commission meetings. Why don't you show up and state your case like he suggested?

You said that you have attended Corbin City Commission meetings. Did you present your ideas or just sit there?

As for any Commissioners getting ousted in May, that shows just how little you know about Corbin politics. No incumbent city leaders will be on the ballot in the primary.

Why don't you file for City office? Or do you meet the residency requirements?

OK---We'll have to wit untill Novemeber because there is not at least 9 to create a run off, more of your situational verbage. So we'll see what happens in November won't we????

Second Point and a little Confession: I found this web site about a month ago, my business partner and I both travel and live in the city. It was not hard to figure out "Who" you folks are that was answering most of the Postings. A web site that few really communicated on and a little investigation plus quick responses told us who created this site and the most probable posters who are a part of the Economic System, no problem but that told us how to push your buttons.

We both actually have supported the current city Gov. and are very good friends with many of the folks we all refer to, here is what we wanted to do: There was no opposing view on anything here (Even if we agreed) We wanted to see you defend some of the decisions and see if you had your facts together.

Here is what we have learned: The poster who discussed the Restaurant Tax was very knowlegdeable about how the tax works and the History behind how the entire Tourism Board conducts Business, nice job and Kudos on your facts.

The part that troubled us was the inability to properly show the economic Impact of these Investments. the consulting company who did the study (Expo Center) actually pointed out several good ROI points but you seemed not to know what these points were.

That's OK but when folks are trying to push your button you need to be able to show the Value and the Good Money this will generate for the people and the Local Business's within the city.

This is a Great Web Site and really could be a good venue for folks to say what's on their mind and challenge each other on what is best for the city and county they live in, wish more folks had the chance to see this site and see some of the views expressed here.

Pretty easy to tell the Philosophy of several key folks if you pay attention here and throw out a little bait!

Thanks for your time and i enjoyed debating you, let's see what happens in November!
