corbin is not ready for change, i truly believe their philosophy is " if it isn't broke don't fix it", we will just sit back and watch laurel co. exceed us in everything we tried to do. now they wanted change, they cleaned house this election. i am sure glad "dr."joe is still on the commission, because he sure has some old guys on the commission he needs to look after their health.

Look for some changes when the New Mayor & Commision get in, people have Long Memories and remember who helped them and supported their campains and those who did not, several will soooon possibly be on the outside looking in, they should have thought about their positions and being soooo Vocal during the election------Not too smart if your a city employee or tied to the city.

You make a good point, but hopefully they will not be returning favors with their decision making unless it is the best thing for the city and the people. I also hope they have the guts to do what is right instead of whimping out at the last minute like they often do. Too bad politics, even in a small town, doesn't seem to work that way anymore. I don't think McBurney will whimp out, but the jury is still out on the commissioners. Only time will tell.

Looks like the thoughts were explained in detail, you just need a name. These folks are posting objective thoughts and opinions, you do not need to play the name game and try and make things personal.

The reason this web site works so well is the way it was set up to debate opinion & thought, nice job on the administraters part to set it up like this. My advice, put your thoughts down and have a nice debate, forget about names as that is the oldest trick in the book and only ends up making debate personal instead of staying on the topic at hand.

Cudos to the folks who set up a nice system, I don't agree with everything said here but the point is to have free feedback, anyone can make a counter point!
