Two weeks ago, some friends of mine came in for a visit, and by their request, we ate at KFC, as they wanted to see the museum and say they had eaten at the original store. They were really impressed. I must say, it had been some time since I had been in there, we usually just use the drive through, and I enjoyed the visit as well. Their two comments were they wished they sold souviners, and they didn't have a buffet.
Last sunday, I went to get some food there, and the parking lot was packed, as was the bank's lot across the street, mainly with RV"s and campers. The drive through line was long, so I went in to get our food.
Turns out, all the RV's and such were coming back from the Bristol Tn. nascar race from saturday night, and they all stopped in to see the place as they had seen the signs. The reason I know this, one of the families asked me to take a picture in front of the sign for them, and I gladly obliged.
I wish our KFC would start the buffet. Many of the KFC's around us have them, and they seem to be very busy.
I am of the option the buffet would take away from the experence of eating where it all began, also then profits would suffer. If it aint broke dont fix it!
It might not be broke, but it could be better. The owners in Nashville need to keep the place up better, and KFC corporate need to keep the pressure on them to do so.
